1. Oregano, which I have been drying in the oven on a low-heat setting this morning.
2. Sage, which I dried in the oven yesterday.
3. Pumpkin pie, which I baked recently.
4. A LOT of cooked and puréed pumpkin, from the three pumpkins I just carved.
5. Roasting pumpkin seeds.
6. Pumpkin spice and vanilla candles.
7. Warm sugar cookies.
8. Freshly ground and brewed coffee.
9. Kitty litter.
10. Dirty laundry.
11. Unidentified things being ground into our unvacuumed carpets.

Although my ex-boss used to say that if you closed your eyes you couldn’t tell the difference between coffee and skunk. I tried it once. He was right.
But still. He’s not my boss any more.

I’m not sure this is true…I can’t smell skunk but coffee smells delicious.

Actually, I don’t drink tea either. It’s mainly peppermint or fennel. Or hot chocolate – good and dark, naturally.
